Christopher Emmanuel "Chris" Paul (born May 6, 1985) is the American high quality basketball player for the La Clippers on the National Basketball Association (NBA). Standing at 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m) and weighing 175 lb (79 kg), he's got started exclusively on the position of point guard. Paul has received the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, an Olympic gold medal, and brought a National basketball association in assists three times and steals 6 times. He's already been picked to seven NBA All-Star teams, six All-NBA teams, and six All-Defensive teams.
Paul is a McDonald's All-American in high school. He joined Wake Forest University for just two years of college basketball when he helped the Demon Deacons achieve their first ever number one ranking. He has been elected 4th total in your 2005 NBA draft by the New Orleans Hornets and traded to the Clippers in 2011.
At December 8, 2011, the Hornets accepted a three-team trade sending Paul for the Los Angeles Lakers. The NBA, who owned the team at the time, nullified the deal, with commissioner David Stern claiming New Orleans would be better off keeping Paul.The clubs taking part on the deal in tried out to lobby the league to reverse its ruling and reconstruct the offer does not help.On December 12, the Hornets decided to a trade sending Paul on the Los Angeles Clippers, but the deal broke down following the NBA added further demands to the authentic conditions. Two days later, the teams at last made the trade, transferring Paul and two future second stage draft picks to the Clippers for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and the Minnesota Timberwolves' unprotected first round pick within the 2012 draft. Upon the deal's conclusion, Paul announced that he might opt in the final season for his agreement and stay on Los Angeles for at least 2 more seasons.
